Where to begin? I am a 16 year uterine cancer survivor as of 2016! I was diagnosed at 29 years old in 1997. It was tough, but I was able to send cancer packing even after a second recurrence in 2000. I remained active by walking, riding my bike, and doing some mild hiking. I have always been active; baseball (not softball) being my favorite sport!
In 2006, I started college on a scholarship to be a paralegal (a sit down job) and I thought that that was the only future I had insight; I got my A.A.S degree of course but, that would all change in 2007 when I met a friend of mine who would lead me on a journey which began in the gym, and would lead me to becoming a compression wearer. Wearing compression tights for my legs has opened doors I never thought possible. At 48 years old I am now studying to become a personal trainer and I don’t intend to let age stop me from what I’d like to accomplish.
